questions that need answers

Q: I’m traveling in, where should I stay?

Thank you for taking the trip! Our room block is sold out, however, there are hundreds of hotel brands & vacation rentals in the Raleigh area to choose from.

Q: Will you have transportation to & from the events?

While we will not have pre-arranged transportation, all events are centrally located to Downtown Raleigh.

Q: Is there parking at the venue?

Yes. There is ample free parking at the Wedding Venue. There is paid lot/garage parking surrounding the Welcome Party Venue and limited free street parking.

Q: Can I bring another guest?

Due to limited space, we are only able to accommodate those guests formally invited on your wedding invitation.  If you received a plus one they will appear under your name when you RSVP.  Thank you for understanding.

Q: What do I wear to the welcome Party?

The Welcome Party attire is All White in your personal apparel style. This DOES NOT apply to the Wedding.

Q: What is the dress code for the wedding?

We’d love to see our family & friends get dressed up for our Wedding & Reception. Dress code is formal attire. Ladies can wear floor-length, tea length or midi formal dresses. Gentlemen can wear a tux, or suit & tie. No jeans or casual-wear please. This DOES NOT apply to the Welcome Party.

Q: Are children invited?

Auntie Cole & Uncle D love the kids, however we have decided to keep our wedding an adult-only event with the exception of immediate family. Consider this a night out on us!

Q: Can I bring a gift?

We appreciate your love and generosity. We have created a honeymoon fund in lieu of a traditional registry. Should you prefer another way to gift us, we are grateful.

Q: Will the wedding be outdoors or indoors?

Depending on weather conditions, the ceremony may be outside in a well shaded area on the property. The reception will be held indoors.

Q: Will I need a car to get around?

While Raleigh is predominantly a driving city, getting around is easy. Uber/Lyft is available in all areas and you can easily walk/bike around Downtown Raleigh where the host hotel is located. Our Welcome Party (Saturday) & Wedding (Sunday) are both less than a 10 minute ride from the host hotel.

Q: are the Wedding and Welcome Party at the same location?

The Wedding is at The Maxwell - 630 Gideon Creek Way, Raleigh.

The Welcome Party is at Bloc 83 - 621 Hillsborough Street, Raleigh.
